This Package Scope Policy defines the scope, deliverables, exclusions, and fulfillment boundaries of each website package and the Website Care Plan offered by Cielo Consulting Strategies LLC.
All packages are standardized offerings with pre-defined deliverables and exclusions. They are not hourly, open-ended, or custom consulting engagements. Each package is delivered using a structured process intended to apply consistently across buyers.
General scope rules
- Each package is sold as a fixed bundle of deliverables, not as hourly or open-ended work.
- Deliverables not explicitly listed for a given package are out of scope.
- Each one-time package includes one structured revision round.
- A structured revision round means one consolidated round of revision requests submitted within 5 business days of draft delivery unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Each Website Care Plan billing cycle includes a defined monthly allowance of in-scope edits and updates.
- "Monthly allowance" refers to a defined amount of routine update work performed during the monthly maintenance window. Unused allowance does not roll over unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Out-of-scope requests are not included in the purchased package and will not be performed unless separately scoped, quoted, and confirmed in writing.
Starter Website Package
Included:
- Up to 5 pages built within the package scope using a standardized layout structure
- Mobile-optimized responsive design
- Contact form and service sections
- Gallery or proof section
- Standard on-page setup, including page titles, meta descriptions, and headings
- One structured revision round
- Launch-ready delivery within the defined delivery window
Not included:
- Custom application or software development
- Copywriting beyond formatting and light editing of buyer-provided text
- Logo design or full brand identity creation
- Stock or custom photography
- Domain registration or hosting fees
- Ongoing maintenance after launch
- Paid advertising setup, management, or ad spend
Website Refresh Package
Included:
- Visual design cleanup of existing pages
- Layout and content hierarchy improvements
- Content restructuring within scope
- Mobile responsiveness and basic performance improvements
- Trust and conversion updates, including CTAs, forms, and contact information
- One structured revision round
- Delivery within the defined delivery window
Not included:
- A full new-build website
- Migration to a different platform
- Custom application development
- New copywriting beyond light editing
- Paid advertising or ongoing marketing retainers
Website Care Plan
Included each month:
- Routine platform and security updates
- Content edits and image swaps within the monthly allowance
- Page updates within the monthly allowance
- Uptime and basic issue monitoring
- One monthly maintenance window
Not included:
- New page builds beyond the monthly allowance
- Full website redesigns or rebuilds
- Custom development work
- SEO retainers, audits, or open-ended consulting
- Paid advertising management or ad spend
- Migration to a new platform or hosting provider
Unused monthly update allowance does not carry forward into future billing cycles unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Out-of-scope requests
Any request outside the listed scope of a package will be identified as out of scope before work is performed. Out-of-scope work is not included in the purchased package and will not be performed unless separately scoped, quoted, and confirmed in writing.
Buyer responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for providing all required intake materials, including business information, images, service details, brand assets, and required access credentials, and for responding to revision drafts within the defined revision window.
If required materials, approvals, or access credentials are not provided within a reasonable time, delivery may be delayed, paused, or deemed complete in accordance with the Delivery Policy.
Scope precedence
If there is any conflict between a sales page, email communication, and this policy, the written package scope confirmed at purchase governs.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Package Scope Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase governs that purchase.
